Days 111 and 112
Day 111 brought some unexpected free time when one of the kids' activities was canceled. I put it to good use by creating a more detailed sketch than normal. I was really happy with how this one turned out.
The next day I spent some time cleaning off and rearranging my watercolor palette before starting a new painting. When refilling my palette, I decided to sketch some of my paint tubes.

very nice buckle :) really great job with the shading. you hatching has really improved doing these sketches :)
Thanks Jennifer! I was pretty pleased with this sketch. I did definitely spend more time on it though than most of the recent sketches. It was enjoyable for once not to be squeezing it in in the five minutes I had to spare.
