The first asparagus of the season bought at a farm stand on our way back from southern New Jersey. Their growing season is a few weeks ahead of ours.

And in case you are wondering, despite what it looks like in the last two posts, we almost never have cupcakes in the house. But this was a birthday week so everyday rules did not apply.
