They are gorgeous - particularly the delicate green veins in the white one. We could call it Details 'R Us. ;)

Jeanette, I'll try moving my onions to the basement. The trick then will be not forgetting they are there! As for potatoes...I think my gang is just not a potato family.

Mary, it is so great to "see" you again! I know you have been busy between hosting workshops and spending time with new grandbabies. Both have good qualities, but we can't change what we are.

As for potatoes and onions, I have huge quantities of those that I grew and store them in the 'cold room' where they're fine for months. The trick is cool and dark. Not in the fridge, well for onions maybe, but not potatoes.

And 5 pounds of potatoes, well one meal with 6 people at my place and they're gone. :) Nothing lasts around here, they're like gannets.Jeanette Jobsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08935974758134419990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4710395967782423014.post-78150362148710692112008-11-11T16:35:00.000-05:002008-11-11T16:35:00.000-05:00Love your onions! If it's watercolour, I just can't help pushing the paint around, and if it's coloured pencil, I get lost in capturing the detail, I've decided to stop trying. Clearly it's just not me - I think my textile work may have something to do with it - or maybe it's one of those chicken and egg things!Grangryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16949099501135314987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4710395967782423014.post-73759990583643201432008-11-11T16:07:00.000-05:002008-11-11T16:07:00.000-05:00Thanks Dad!
