I find it MUCH easier to control the paint on Aquabord than on Yupo. Paint seems to have a mind of its own on Yupo. The control to get sharp edges is there for Aquabord, but the lifting properties are similar and the paint doesn't really sink in to the surface.

Thanks Rose! I was pleased with the colors even though I think they are bolder than I typically use.

Thank you Jennifer!Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02494806312648513169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4710395967782423014.post-9255487922177453192009-09-11T19:46:57.553-04:002009-09-11T19:46:57.553-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Pedro Garcia Millanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04825414248796143769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4710395967782423014.post-48227325206182206912009-09-11T16:40:11.753-04:002009-09-11T16:40:11.753-04:00nice vibrant looking colours :) its very soft look...nice vibrant looking colours :) its very soft lookingJennifer Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06528908250338974537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4710395967782423014.post-15127060664750905052009-09-11T10:35:58.006-04:002009-09-11T10:35:58.006-04:00I like the saturated colors here Stacy, for this p...I like the saturated colors here Stacy, for this photo I think it makes a more compelling image.

I've used Aquabord for acrylics too - the wash off feature is very nice. :DRose Weltyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00313411909909580181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4710395967782423014.post-43337122748034555902009-09-11T07:17:04.621-04:002009-09-11T07:17:04.621-04:00This is a winner Stacy. I love the rich, vibrant colours against the more subdued green.

I haven't used Aquabord or seen it here, but then again, I live on an island in the Atlantic, so unless its in popular demand, it doesn't get here!

It sounds sort of similar to Yupo but perhaps less trying. Have you used yupo?Jeanette Jobsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08935974758134419990noreply@blogger.com
